System configuration is used to update any system wide configuration values such as license information and configurable text.

SMTP Server
The address of the SMTP mail-server. Used when sending notifications for Incomplete timesheet notifications and Approval rejections.
Enables an optional top level attribute that can be specified when recording and analysing time. The label "Cost Center" can be modified in the Configurable Text tab to a more appropriate label if required.
Enable Notes Entry
Enables the ability to record text notes when recording time.
Enables the ability to record and report on expenses.
Start/End Time Interval
Specifies the interval in minutes between the times available when a user is required to specify start and end times. Possible values are 6, 12, 15, 30 and 60 minutes.
Day Start
Specifies the default start time for the first entry in a day when a user is required to specify start and end times.
Week Ends On
Specifies the day on which the week ends.
Show Saturday
Enables time entry for a Saturday.
Show Sunday
Enables time entry for a Sunday.
Default Minimum Hours
Specifies the default minimum number of hours for which time must be recorded when adding a new user.
License Key
The key supplied by DbNetLink that specifies the number of users. A license key is required for more than 5 users.
Licensed Users
The number of licensed users. 5 by default.
Actual Users
Total number of current active users.
Incomplete Timesheet Reminder E-Mail
Subject
The text that appears in the Subject line of the e-mail sent to users reminding them to complete their timesheet.
Link Text
The text that invites the recipient to click on the link taking them to the timesheet entry page.

The configurable text tab allows you to modify the text for the non-admin applications either for reasons of translation into another language or to simply change the terminology in certain places. e.g rename Project to Job
