User configuration is use to create maintain DbNetTime users. To gain access to DbNetTime you must have an active user record. The number of active users allowed is controlled by the license key.
The grid displays a list of all the DbNetTime user records. User Name The login name of the user. Must be unique. If you are using windows authentication then it must match the windows account name(without the domain) of the user. Password The password required by the login page if using Forms authentication. The fields is not displayed if using Windows authentication If specified the e-mail address is used to when sending a user an Incomplete timesheet or approval rejection notification. Administrator If marked as an Administrator a user will have access to all application and be able to perform all functions within DbNetTime User Group Users can be assigned to a group which in turn can be assigned application access. Line Manager A user assigned as a Line manager will be able to send the user an Incomplete timesheet notification. SMTP User Name/SMTP Password Required if your SMTP mail server authenticates outgoing e-mails. Inactive A user that no longer uses DbNetTime can be flagged as inactive. Inactive users can still be selected in reports but will no longer be able to login. Inactive users do not require a user license. Min. Weekly Hours If specified will prevent a user from completing their timesheet unless they have recorded time for this number of hours. Start/End Times If checked then the user will be required to record their time by specifying a start and end time. Hourly Rate The default hour rate for the user. If no rate is assigned to a Project or Task then this rate will be applied the time entered by the user. Allows any users that are responsible for approving a user's timesheet to be specified. |
